Is this driver fully compatible for win 8.1 pro 64bit insatalled on HP Compaq dx2300 Microtower Business PC with 4 GB RAM

I realise this isn’t designed for Win10 but will not install on my Surface Pro 4. What does work is the generic driver from Microsoft to work over USB, but no luck with WiFi for now 🙁
