You are not doing anything wrong. This is a long-standing HP firmware/update problem affecting many HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g printers running firmware CKP5CN1829AR. Multiple users report the exact same “Not Applicable” message when trying to install the newer 2011A / CLP1CN2011AR firmware package.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Why does this update not work on my printer with the printer Update application status showing not Applicable!!! I have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911g with current firmware version CKP5CN1829AR which I want to keep using but want to update so that all functions are useable!! The printer is still in perfect working order other than needing updated security protocols and I do not want to replace it with a new one as it is perfectly serviceable and does not warrant become more e-waste or landfil.]]></description>
