Then I realized that HP smart had recognized it beforehand. After telling HP smart to ignore/remove printer, my install recognized my printer. Will try to do the same for my 2652. If it works then there will be no follow up. So what I’m saying is tell HP smart to remove your printer in order of printer software to recognize printer for install.

I have the same problem. I’ve tried reinstalling multiple times but the PC wont recognize the printer. Ironically its an HP laptop.
