My printer HP LaserJet 100 Colour MFP M175a was functioning ok with Windows 7 on my desktop Dell Optiplex 3020. When I upgraded to Windows 10, I could print but scanning failed.
I downloaded CLJ_MFP_M175_USB_sw_win_full_solution.exe, unsinstalled the old installation. Now when I attempt to install again, I am stuck in a loop. I get the message “The prior product installation failed to complete. The partially installed files must be uninstalled before you rerun the product installation.”
When I reboot and attempt to install again, the same error message is returned “The previous product installation failed . . . ”
IOBit Uninstaller does not “see” any remnants of the printer installation.
The system appears to uninstall (runs from 0% to 100%) then prompts me to reboot.
I have successfully installed the printer on my Dell 14iR laptop using the same download.
