Installation recommendations:
Download the windows driver for HP Scanjet G4010 above to your computer. Also disconnect your printer’s USB cable from the computer. Then open the file you downloaded and follow the installation instructions. When you receive the warning on the screen that you can now plug in the USB cable, connect your printer cable to your computer.
After the installation is completed, you can delete the file you downloaded. However, HP may withdraw driver support from time to time. The driver for some printers is no longer published. Therefore, you may need this driver again. I think it would be better to archive it on your computer. You can use it again if you need it in the future.
