HP Scanjet Basic Feature Driver

This is the minimum driver required for basic WIA functionality (USB only). This driver enables scanning with the Windows Photo Gallery on Windows Vista or the Scanner and Camera Wizard on Windows XP. Scanning can also be done with a variety of 3rd party scanner enabled applications.

  1. Windows 10 was not recognizing original software installed in Windows 7. Hence deleted the installed software for windows 7 and finding it difficult to scan documents as the HP solution centre logo is not appearing in Desktop menu

  2. Tried this driver several times, but it simply clicks at the beginning without doing anything else.
    Deskjet D7260 printer works fine
    Had to roll back to Windows 7

  7. The drivers installed for scanner must enable the scanner to operate independently with all the features including converting the documents/data to MS Word which used to work on older versions of windows
