Installation guidelines
This section will guide you through the software download procedure and get you started on the installation process. Simple steps for downloading and installing printer drivers are provided below. (Note: Connect the USB cable only when instructed.
You’ll need about 590 MB of free hard drive space to use this download.
- Exit any open software applications on your PC.
- Select “Download Only” and save the file to your computer’s hard drive.
- Click the downloaded file twice. This will create a directory on your hard drive where all the driver files will be extracted. The default directory to which these files are extracted has a name that is comparable to the model of the printer.
- To continue the installation, adhere to the on-screen directions.
